Marie Curie sought to consolidate their operations into a single 14,000 sq ft head office that reflected their mission of care and compassion. Relocating from three separate floors into one cohesive space presented both opportunities and challenges.
Building on workplace strategy research, we translated employee needs into a fully resolved design that supported hybrid working, fostered collaboration, and embedded Marie Curie’s ethos throughout. The scheme combined smart space planning with values-led detailing — from flexible project zones and efficient adjacencies to warm, uplifting finishes that capture the charity’s culture.
Our role extended from stakeholder engagement and concept design through to technical delivery and on-site support, ensuring every element aligned with the client’s operational and emotional goals. The result is a welcoming, people-focused workplace that maximises efficiency while authentically reflecting the charity’s identity and mission.
